| For
Prepaid cards, please answer the following questions so that we can
shop for you: |
| 1. |
What
is the major location to which you want to call? (USA, Europe, S.
America, Asia, etc.). |
| 2.
|
Will
your calls be mainly long or short diration? |
| 3. |
What
is the dollar amount you want on each card? |
| 4. |
Do
you want promotional cards for five-aways? |
| 5. |
Or
do you want a rechargeable card for regular use? |
| 6. |
Any
special need or special request? |
| 7. |
Is
there a certain rate or fee or other card you are seeking to equal
or beat? |
|
|
|
|
|
| When
you consider calling cards, you have at least five options: |
| 1. |
Ask
your local company for a calling card. Caution, very expensive. |
| 2.
|
Ask
AT&T for a calling card, often associated with an AT&T credit
card. This option is expensive but has one saving grace - AT&T
is the only carrier that can handle international calls fron third-world
countries. |
| 3. |
Ask
your long-distance company for a calling card (ProDial will take
care of this on your request.) Advantages are low cost and the card
is billed with your long distance. Easy to use. Possible disadvantage
is that it may not be able to originate calls from some countries
outside the U.S. |
| 4. |
Request
a 'stand-alone' card from AccuLinQ. Advantages include exceptionally
low cost and good foreign origination. Disadvantages include small
billing fee in months the card is used and billing is separate from
your long distance bills. |
| 5. |
Request
a prepaid calling card. Advantage is availability of special pricing
to certain nations and/or special low price for long duration calls.
(Pre-paid cards can also be printed up with your logo for gifts
and promotions.) Disadvantages include the fact that your pay in
advance, loss of card means loss of money spent, and there are more
digits to dial to make a call. |
